Durak, offline and online

A bot that cannot see your cards.

Every free Durak app gets accused of a cheating bot, and the accusation is usually right. This one is built so the claim is checkable rather than promised.

Players around a green baize table under a bare bulb: an old man laying down the ace of spades, a young man, a fox and a cat

What the computer is given, and what it is not

The bot receives

  • Its own hand
  • The cards on the table
  • The discard pile
  • The trump suit and how many cards are left

The bot never receives

  • Your hand
  • Any other player's hand
  • The order of the undealt deck
  • A second look before it commits a move

And you can check it: the deal number is shown on the result screen, every hand is revealed when the game ends, and any game can be replayed move for move.
